ABOUT ME
My name is Annika. I am a freelance journalist and author.
Born and raised in a small wine village in Germany. Closely connected since early childhood with Southern Africa, where part of my family lives.
I live for writing, discovering, telling stories.
In April 2021, I left my job as an editor and my flat in Frankfurt to be able to do just that every day. Since then, I have been travelling through Africa and the Middle East. Every journey starts and ends in Windhoek, Namibia - my home base.
In awe of nature, wildlife and people who go beyond their limits to make this world a better place. These three pillars form the heart of my stories.
